We used the Movie picture mode for our review of the Samsung JU6500 4k LED TV, with the following settings:
If you find our calibration settings of the Samsung JU6500 too dark, increase 'Backlight'. Do not touch 'Brightness'.
Warm2 was the closest to a white temperature of 6500k. If you find it too yellowish, feel free to change it to something that you prefer. 'Digital Clean View' and 'MPEG Noise Filter' should be set to 'High', unless you are playing video games or watching a Blu-ray.
This is a 60hz TV, but it has a motion interpolation feature called 'Auto Motion Plus'. Turn it off, unless you want the soap opera effect.
Turning off 'Dynamic Contrast' is strongly recommended to keep the original shadows.
We don't recommend that you copy our 2pts and 10 pts white balance calibration, because this varies by unit.
If you plan on playing video games, turn on 'Game Mode' under System->General. This will lower the input lag from 118 ms to 26 ms.
