For our review of the LG OLED EC9300 TV, we calibrated the picture settings using our spectrophotometer. The following pictures show our results.
For every usage (except playing video games), we suggest using the 'Expert1' picture mode. For gaming, use 'Game' to get a lower input lag, and then copy the rest of our settings. Just ignore any settings that are not available in 'Game.'
If you have a bright room, increase 'OLED Light' to the max.
For DVDs or SD channels, turn on 'Noise Reduction' to help a little bit clarifying the picture. 'TruMotion' is the motion interpolation/soap opera effect.
Leave 'Color Gamut' at 'Standard' for normal content, you can increase the color gamut by changing it, but it will produce over saturated colors if the content isn't meant for it.
The rest of the pictures show the white balance and colorspace calibration results (you need to enter everything). Note that these varies per unit. You can try our settings, but it might not be as accurate on your TV.
