How well is sound immersion and height channels when using this soundbar with vaulted angled ceilings?
Is it still effective, with or without the help of SpaceFit Pro callibration, or is the soundbar not worth the high monetary value when using valued angled ceilings?
There’s a few different things at play (tested on different firmware, removing the vrr data, etc). We’re going to make an exception and verify this just to be sure though and we’ll update everyone once we have an update.
This is very much appreciated. We have lots of keen eyes on this, especially since the C2 will be clearing out on a discounted price soon.
It’s been several months since this topic was last discussed. Has there been any updates from LG in regards to 4K 60hz or 120hz with VRR enabled?
We know on the C1 and CX with VRR enabled it is 5.7ms, and the latest info we have is that it’s 13ms on the C2. Does this remain true or has it been adjusted to match the C1 or CX?
It’s unfortunate that it’s over double previous year models, and is double that of the C2 when VRR is disabled.
Also, would 4K/60 w/ VRR differ much from 4K/120 w/ VRR in terms of input lag? Or would they both be the same (ie. Around 13ms)?
You definitely shouldn’t see banding like that, this is most likely either a settings issue or the quality of the content you’re watching. As for the pink tint, I wouldn’t say that it’s normal, but it is common. I don’t know what the exact cause is, but it’s a flaw in the manufacturing process, and LG Display has been working at reducing this issue.
The banding is noticed in various content, including 4k HDR movies/shows, PS5 and XSX video games, as well as cable for sports (hockey/football).
I suppose these won’t get better? Same with the pink tint?
Can someone confirm if it’s better to be in PC Mode or not for lower input Lag (both set to game mode).
For example is PC mode better (with game mode enabled) for 1080p/60/120, 4k/60/120, and with and without HDR and VRR enabled? Or is it better to be in just regular gamemode?
I guess I’m wondering if PC 4:4:4 chroma impacts input lag or adds to it. Or if somehow PC mode improves input lag over regular game mode.

Curious if you found an answer to this?
What is the best way to connect a console, especially with lowest video game latency in mind.
Console → Soundbar → TV Or Console → TV → Soundbar (eARC)
Is sound compromised when using eARC opposed to plugging directly into the soundbar?

Does it tend to get better? It really ruins my viewing experience, especially during hockey/sports.
What causes this issue?

I too would also like to know if the VRR input lag has been fixed on the C2 (ideally 65").
The most recent comments seem to state the C2 (with VRR enabled) is 13.0 Ms while it is 5.7 for the C1 and CX.
Is this still true? Any idea what would account for over the double input lag when VRR is enabled?
(Would love to know soon as I am really debating getting this TV or searching for remaining stock on the C1)
