Via the reviews, it’s interesting that all of the cheaper lower end Hisense models has better contrast than the QD7. I compared the QD6 (Model right under QD7) at the store and thought QD7 had better contrast and blacks. As another commenter said I too am wondering if you guys got maybe a defective unit?

Hey there! I took a look at the Costco listing and don’t see where it says that it has local dimming. The spec sheet says that it doesn’t. As for QLED, it technically does use Quantum Dots, but only for the greens, as it uses a KSF phosphor to produce reds instead of QD.

Hello, It states on the listing that it has local dimming. Is it an error on Costcos part?
