Thanks a lot for confirming! I hope more manufacturers put this on their specs and advertisement. Isn’t direct lit always better? Why is this the only monitor in the ultra fine line up Direct lit?

I agree, manufacturers should be more transparent with this sort of info, it’s always in the consumer’s best interest to know exactly what they’re buying. Direct-lit is usually better, but it also results in thicker panels. Edge-lit displays are usually thinner, but they don’t last as long.
