I’m quite puzzled about the results and will appreciate your clarifications.
Looking at the noise isolation with the ANC, there’s a huge “bump” down to -17db throughout most of mid-range of the WH-1000XM4. It comes significantly behind the rest, in what appears the most disrupting range (such as people’s voices, babies, etc).
So, how come WH-1000XM4 is leading in the overall results over the BOSE QC ULTRA, which seems to deliver more stable results in all ranges, closer to the AirPods Max?
