Robot S9 Series Review: A Disappointing Experience!
If the iRobot S9 series were to be judged solely on the promise of its features, it might have stood as the top of the robotic vacuum market. However, the reality of owning one of these devices has proven to be a vastly different and thoroughly disheartening experience.
From the moment of unboxing, the disillusionment began. The unit I received was non-functional right out of the gate, stubbornly claiming that the bumper is stuck and nothing I did could remedy this.
Expecting a quick resolution, I reached out to iRobot’s customer service, only to be met with a level of disinterest that was as shocking as it was frustrating. The lack of interest in addressing a clearly defective product was baffling.
Emails replied with form letters and calls were met with endless hold music, followed by unhelpful service agents who seemed more skilled in the art of evasion than in troubleshooting. The absence of adequate support has rendered my expensive purchase nothing more than an inert showpiece, collecting dust instead of cleaning it.
My recommendation is that you should probably look elsewhere for a robotic vacuum.
