Magic Remote unreliable after AirPlay update

After updating my OLED55C8 to firmware 05.30.10 earlier this year, Magic Remote cursor stopped working very frequently. Power cycling the TV fixed it for a while until it happened again quite soon. I contacted LG on this and they suggested turning Quick Start+ off which did fix the issue. My friend with a 2018 55UK7550 has the same issue. Has anyone else noticed this and have you contacted LG to make them aware of it?
