I am upgrading from an 8 yr old 50" LG 1080p 3D TV. I sit 10’ away on Theatre seating, but if I use a wall mount, I could get the TV 9’ and even 8’ away (putting it above my coffee table). I stream TV and play a lot of non competitive PS4/PS5 RPG/Action/Adventure games (ex:Horizon Zero Dawn). 4k, HDR, 60fps is fine. The U7G comes in a 75", but it sounds like the U8G has a ‘better’ picture. One thing that concerns me is the calibration, because I have no idea how to do it. Lastly, I do turn on TruMotion (Motion Interpolation) on my LG sometimes (I don’t mind the SOE), so I don’t want to buy a TV without it. I know its a personal decision, but I don’t have the chance to see the 2 TVs side by side. Thanks!
