Is there any measurement/metric that can be used to determine how much RBE(Rainbow Effect) will be experienced compared to other single-chip DLP projectors? I’m quite sensitive to this and would like to know what to look at in these reviews. I was thinking of a high speed capture while a camera pointing to the projector screen is panned left and right at a certain speed.
Hey, RBE on this projector is very little, if you use it in 30 or 60hz mode, it corresponds to a 8x/4x Color Wheel speed. It actually has no color wheel, but pulses its LEDs as needed. A very smooth and incredible projector. Only caveat, as soon as you go above 60hz, say use the 240Hz mode for games, AND you use digital keystone correction simultaenously, the picture quality visibly suffers, at least on Windows Desktop.

Update: We mentioned the newly-reviewed BenQ X3100i in the Compared To Other Projectors and Differences Between Sizes And Variants sections of this review.
