Our Verdict

Samsung HW-Q930D

LG S90TR

The LG S90TR and Samsung HW-Q930D are both excellent soundbars that include a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. They support nearly all the same audio formats and feature HDMI passthrough. Out of the box, the Samsung has a more balanced sound, but you can adjust the LG to achieve a similar audio profile. Additionally, the LG offers better dynamics with less compression. It is also the only one of the two that supports HDMI 2.1 passthrough, which is ideal for gaming. However, the Samsung excels in height performance. Ultimately, your choice will depend on your primary use case.
