The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is a full-size blender with a 64oz pitcher, a 24oz personal jar with a handle, and a 34oz personal jar. It offers a wider range of speed settings than other nutribullet blenders, and its 'SmartSense' blending program allows it to blend automatically. It also stands out from other nutribullet blenders for its retro-style display.
The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is alright for multi-purpose use. It's well-built and comes with a large-capacity 64oz pitcher for multiple servings as well as 32 and 24oz personal jars for single-serves. It makes a smooth blend with fibrous ingredients and can hot blend. However, it's not the most versatile blender, since it's not meant for crushing ice and struggles with thicker recipes like nut butter.

Pretty loud.
Can't crush ice.
Bad for nut butter.
The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is good for single-serve smoothies. It comes with 32 and 24oz personal jars suitable for single-serve smoothies. It quickly makes a mostly smooth blend with small batches of fibrous ingredients, so recipes with leafy greens or fruit come out smooth. Some blenders can make an even smoother blend, however.

Can't crush ice.
The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is very good for multiple servings of smoothies. Its 64oz pitcher can fit a big batch of smoothies and produces a very smooth blend with fibrous ingredients at full capacity. However, some blenders can make a big batch of smoothies much faster.

The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is fantastic for soups. It can hot blend in its 64oz pitcher, which is big enough to blend a full recipe in one batch. It makes a mostly smooth blend with fibrous ingredients like kale and broccoli. However, some blenders can blend soup much faster.

The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is mediocre for professional use. Although it's well-built, it's noisy and not very versatile. It makes a smooth blend with fibrous ingredients in small and large batches but isn't meant for crushing ice. It also really struggles with thicker recipes like nut butter or hummus.

The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is similar to other full-size blenders from the brand since it comes with a 64oz jar and a pair of personal jars and works best for smoothies, just like the nutribullet Blender Combo and nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo. It performs similarly but has a 'SmartSense' blending program for automatic blending. Like most nutribullet blenders, it can't crush ice without liquid in the jar. If you want a similar blender that can crush ice, the Ninja Detect Duo Power Blender Pro has a similar design and makes snow-like crushed ice. However, unlike the nutribullet, it can't hot blend.

The nutribullet Blender Combo and nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo are similar. Both include a 64oz jar as well as personal jars and are well-suited for smoothies. The SmartSense is newer and has a digital display with a retro, dotted look. It also offers a wider range of speed settings, although both blenders perform similarly.
The nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo and the nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo are very similar. Both include large-capacity pitchers and personal jars and are well-suited for smoothies. The Smart Touch has four blending programs, while the SmartSense has one automatic blending program.
The Ninja Professional Plus Blender DUO with Auto-iQ and the nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo are both full-size blenders that include personal jars. The Ninja only comes with one personal jar in addition to its 72oz main pitcher, but it can crush ice and make nut butter, unlike the nutribullet. The nutribullet comes with a pair of personal jars and makes a smoother blend with big batches of fibrous ingredients, making it less versatile but better for multiple servings of smoothies. It can also hot blend.
The Ninja Detect Duo Power Blender Pro and the nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo are both full-size blenders that come with a large pitcher and smaller personal jars. They're both well-suited for smoothies, but the Ninja can also crush ice and make nut butter. The nutribullet does a better job of blending fibrous ingredients at full capacity, so it's better for making multiple servings of smoothies.
The nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo is best stored on your counter instead of in a cupboard or on a shelf. However, it's smaller and lighter than the nutribullet Triple Prep System.
It has a great build quality. It's mostly made of plastic, including the gears on the motor base and jars, but it feels sturdy overall. The motor base has rubber feet that help keep it in place while running. There's a clear cover over the physical buttons that doesn't attract fingerprints. The digital display has a retro, dotted design. It's easy to assemble, although the pitcher must be oriented correctly for it to work. However, the lid for the to-go cup feels loose, like it might accidentally come off.
The jar has a big 64oz capacity. There's also a 24oz and a 32oz jar included. Here's a photo of the 32oz jar in position on the motor base. The actual capacities of the personal jars are slightly smaller, as indicated by maximum fill lines.
The main pitcher has six non-removable blades. They're blunt, which makes cleaning by hand easier. There's a separate blade assembly for the personal jars.
The pitcher's lid is two-part, so you can remove the center piece and add ingredients. There's also a spout with a cover, so you can serve drinks directly from the pitcher.
There are also resealable lids included for the personal jars, so you can easily blend a smoothie or shake and bring it on the go.
It's incredible for blending small batches of fibrous ingredients. If you're blending something like a single-serve smoothie in the personal jar, it combines your ingredients quickly. It makes a very smooth blend, although you can still see some tiny unprocessed specks.
It's excellent for processing fibrous ingredients at full capacity. If you use it for something like kale smoothies or broccoli soup, it makes a mostly smooth blend, with very few tiny unprocessed bits left over. However, it's not that fast a process since you must blend manually for a few minutes or run several 'SmartSense' programs.
It can barely make nut butter in its main pitcher, even with a lot of effort. The jar's base is wider than the nutribullet Triple Prep System and has a conical shape. Ingredients get pushed away from the blades and stuck, so you must stir and scrape the jar often. However, it never pulls the ingredients into a vortex, and after several minutes and multiple rounds of scraping and stirring, it doesn't make nut butter you'd want to eat.
Using more ingredients might help prevent everything from getting stuck away from the blades. The blender's manual includes a recipe for almond butter that uses two pounds of almonds. If you want to make a smaller batch, you can use the personal jar for better results. It still requires several minutes of blending, and the motor can overheat, forcing you to wait longer before blending, but the results are better. You can see the process in a video and the resulting nut butter in a photo.
It's quite loud, so if you use your blender often or for multiple batches in a row, you can find noticeably quieter blenders with similar features, like the Ninja Professional Plus Blender with Auto-iQ.
It has a fairly wide range of speed settings. The minimum speed is quite slow, which is nice if you want to avoid overblending. The maximum speed is fast enough for smoothly blending soups and smoothies. The personal jars use a different blade assembly but offer similar minimum and maximum speeds:
Minimum personal jar speed: 5300 RPM
Maximum personal jar speed: 21000 RPM
This blender has one 'SmartSense' program, which automatically sets a blending time and speed. There are also five speeds available for manual blending, plus a dedicated 'Pulse' button.
It's decently easy to clean. The main pitcher's wider base makes it easier to reach under the blades compared to the nutribullet Triple Prep System, but you'll still need a brush with a handle to clean them properly. The ridges inside the jar and both parts of the 2-part lid also need to be scrubbed with a brush or sponge.
