Its still the same 8 inch driver, but now its a dual sub, so twice the bass with better surround in the room, and the dual will offset the vibration to reduce distortion. A smaller cabinet allows for cleaner and better bass, there was no reason to have such a big box, outside of looking more impressive. This is a huge upgrade, even just looking at the wattage, its doubled to the subwoofer from Q990D

I was thinking of buying this sound bar also until I read those comments. Did you end up buying it and is there a problem with the centre channel in your opinion?

i have the 930c and no problems .. perfect i am happy
