HDMI ports on Toshiba fire edition

I am running the latest amazon fire cube through the HDMI 1 port. However, the cube won’t play videos in 4K saying the HDMI port is not hdcp 2.2 compliant. Your review states that all three hdmi ports are. Is there a solution for this, or am I forced to watch everything in 1080p?
