Q9FN | Xbox One X/General Gaming | PC Mode Looks Sharper/Cleaner at 1440p than Any Other Mode

Not sure if anyone can shed any light on this.

Lately I have been playing around with 1440p at 120Hz on the Q9. Specifically with the Xbox One X that allows 1440p at 120Hz. If I have the HDMI input labelled as Xbox or Game Console or actually anything other than PC the picture doesn’t look great at 1440p. It looks a little blurry/muddy and the sharpness setting doesn’t seem to have much impact at all.

However, when in PC Mode, although the picture is initially blurry as the sharpness curve is different in PC Mode, Once you set the sharpness to anything above 10 the picture looks substantially cleaner and sharper than the same resolution in any other mode.

Does anyone know if this is something to do with the sharpness curve just being more aggressive in PC Mode or is it something to do with Chroma not displaying correctly in any other mode other than PC?
