We discovered an inconsistency in our test methodology for the SDR Peak Brightness, HDR Peak Brightness, HDR Color Gamut, and HDR Color Volume tests. On some monitors, these tests were run with local dimming disabled, but it was left enabled on other monitors. For consistency, we decided to go back and retest some reviews with local dimming enabled for all of these tests. We rechecked all monitors that were on our latest test methodology and from now on, we’ll test all monitors with local dimming enabled for those tests.

We retested the following monitors, which were either tested without local dimming, or we simply weren’t sure:

Other monitors that have a local dimming feature were also double-checked, but they didn’t require retesting, as they had already been tested with local dimming on.
