20 kHz flicker related to eye pain/headache?

Hello, I’m interested in this monitor because it would tick all boxes as a successor to my S2417DG but I have read more than one report on forums and product comments that allegedly suffer from inexplicable eye pain, fatigue and headaches when using it for more than a few hours at a time. Could this be related to the very high frequency PWM flicker? Is there any chance that you will revisit the flicker topic with a different sample of the same monitor?
