This monitor has a firmware bug after it wakes back up from sleep. If the monitor has been asleep for more than 2 or 3 minutes, it sends a disconnect and then reconnect signal to the graphics card. On my Radeon RX 6800 it causes the OS (both Windows and Linux) to rearrange all the windows, because it thinks the monitor has disconnected and the screen layout changes. This also crashes some games and VirtualBox.
I got in contact with LG and they admitted thereโs a compatibility problem with the latest graphics cards and they were developing a firmware fix, but I donโt really believe it will ever materialize, as half an years has already passed since then and this monitor never got a firmware update since itโs release.
Iโm afraid I will have to RMA it.
