We have a setup guide here. Make sure you have Input Signal Plus enabled for the HDMI ports you want to run above 60Hz. It also depends on your source settings and how it’s connected. What graphics card do you have in your PC, and are you connecting the PC directly to the TV? How long are your cables?
Okay, I’ve spent a few days testing settings and stuff but still requires a fair amount of regular tech support to get to function properly. First definitely enable Input Signal Plus if its off, thank you for that. For best results it’s definitely best/easiest to operate if the TV is the only connected monitor. Dual monitor setup is less reliable but doable but it must be the primary monitor. (I’ve had zero success getting it to work as a secondary monitor above 60hz) Even in best case scenarios it usually doesn’t initially turn on properly. I have to go through the “HDMI Troubleshooting” prompt, disconnect/reconnect the hdmi cable before the screen will display. Sometimes it will look like it’s going to function okay flicker a few times, turn On “Game Mode” and then lose signal. If that happens turn “Game Mode” Off and set the fps to 60hz, then start the game and usually it will switch to “Game Mode” automatically. Then if the fps is still at 60, manually switch it to 120 in the pc settings and cross your fingers. Also HDMI+ must be turned off. I’ve had zero success if I turn that on. Also there’s apparently a bug that makes the VRR (I think is the acronym) display as ‘Off’ in the Game Dashboard even if it’s on.
To your question, I think it’s 5m total. 1x3ft cable, 1x 12ft cable, and a bi-directional 1-2 hdmi switch.
Graphics card is some version of the 4070. I’d have to dig up the specifics.
Do yall have a setup guide for the S90D (55")? I bought it based off the recommendation of this site, to play games from my PC, but have not been able to get it to function at above 60hz. I replaced all the HDMI connections with 8k compatible cables but as soon as I set it to above 60hz it stops reading the pc output. According to the internet this is a known problem. I can’t even set it to “gaming mode” without losing signal. There’s not much point in spendingbmoney onna “gaming TV” that can’t get above 60hz. What gives?
