Hello! Iโm going to link to our comparison tool to help you get a better sense of the difference between these two speakers. We test in a room thatโs 20โ (L) x 16โ (W) x 9.5โ (H), so while we canโt say for certain how these speakers would perform in a room with a vaulted ceiling, I think itโs notable that the Sonos gets much louder, which is something that can help to fill larger rooms with more consistent sound. The Sonos comes with bass and treble adjustments, too, so you have more ability to switch up its performance to suit the unique acoustics of your room.
As a follow up, I ended up with an Era 300 and a Mini Sub to help fill the large room volume with good bass at moderate/low volumes. Very happy with the setup, though it did cost more than I originally planned.
A pair of HomePod v2 in stereo (and on sale) is only moderately more expensive than an Era 300โฆ which would sound better in a 21โ L x 16โ W x 15'H living room (vaulted ceiling)?
Anyone think the significant sale / price drop is to clear out stock for a refreshed model? This one has micro-USB still instead of USB C.
