I am looking at getting either the ax5100g or the hs5100 but really not sure which is better. The hs5100 has 540 watts of power but the ax5100g has Dolby Atmos.

I just purchased one of these for testing and while I’m DEFINITELY no RTINGS.com when it comes to sound review, and analysis, I do have a full-fledged Onkyo 5.1 Surround Sound with bookshelf speakers featuring dual 5.25" midrange Drivers, a 10" 200W Subwoofer powered by an Onkyo HT-R510 to compare it to as well as several sets of Near field studio drivers setup across a few desks, so I can give a pretty accurate description of how well it “plays” in terms of sound. Once I’ve gathered my findings and set it up I’ll be posting a somewhat concise initial review.
