I am interested in atmos music performance - while this is effective with headphones it may be more of a gimmick with a physical speakers? The comparison with apple home pod (which scored poorly) is of interest now that we now have a second speaker offering apple โspatial audioโ support. A challenge as the test โsoundstageโ does not cover height.
got 2 Era 300 and paired as stereo. single one works not that good, but a pair is 10 times better when you play dolby atmos with Apple music Spatial Audio. when they play stereo even lossless, they are just fine, not that great cause no woofer facing to you. you cant feel music pushing to your skin and touching you like sonos five. over all i have to say Spatial audio is a new era for music. I also have a HT with beam2 sub3 and 2x ONE sl, spatial audio gives surround sound field but beam are weak for singer voice. era 300 pair are better.
