I have had this monitor for around 2 years. I keep it on the standard preset mode, overclock off and normal response time setting (as the faster modes had high amounts of ghosting). I also keep brightness on maximum as the whites seem a bit gray without it.
Currently I am having issues with strong image retention. My lock screen image is as if burned in and it retained the ghostly outline of my steam page on it as well. I tried putting a Red Green Blue colour cycle as one fix, which did nothing. Leaving it on a bright white screen for a while did work a bit, however, while it got rid of some of the image retention, the outline of my lock screen image was still there. I turned the monitor off completely for the night and that helped to tone it down a bit and I will also be testing lowering the brightness.
