Thank you for providing the relevant information. I’ve tested it on my side, there’s no way to enable LC3/LC3+ via Bluetooth connection.
ASUS has provided these details on how to change LC3 and LC3+ codecs
The ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA does not have the capability to switch between LC3 and LC3+ in 2.4GHz mode. LC3+ is specifically designed for Bluetooth audio transmission and is not applicable to the 2.4GHz wireless mode of the ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA.
To switch between LC3 and LC3+ on the ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA, you can follow these steps:
Ensure that your ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA earbuds are connected to your device via Bluetooth.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and find the ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA in the list of paired devices.
Tap on the settings icon (usually indicated by a gear or cog symbol) next to the ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA device.
Look for an option called “Audio Codec” or “Audio Quality” in the settings menu for the ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA.
Tap on the “Audio Codec” or “Audio Quality” option to open the submenu.
In the submenu, you should see the options for LC3 and LC3+. Select the desired option you want to switch to.
Once you have selected your preferred audio codec (LC3 or LC3+), exit the settings menu.
The ROG CETRA TRUE WIRELESS SPEEDNOVA will now switch to the selected audio codec and you should experience the improved audio quality of either LC3 or LC3+.
Hello cattboy,
ASUS does not offer a method to use LE audio without a dongle. Therefore, selecting LC3/LC3+ transmission via Bluetooth connection is not feasible. Could you please help us remove this statement? Thank you very much for your assistance.
