I’m a little surprised that the scroll wheel got top marks. Just like with the v2, I’ve experienced scroll wheel issues with the v3. After extended use, it has the same problems with the mouse wheel scrolling up at the end of scroll down. The temporary fix of turning it over and aggressively pushing the scroll wheel up and down on a surface still works. But it’s disappointing that Razor still hasn’t gotten their scroll wheels right.
Which Synapse version are you using? Do you feel like it has accel?
I’m using the latest version. this feels like acceleration because the mouse in fact always works at 8000Hz, which is why at low dpi you get a negative srav. well, to implement 8000Hz you need at least 3200 dpi, but I tested all values starting from 3200 and they all seem bad to me
At what lod did you do the srav test, low mid or high? and could you do similar tests with different lod options, I don’t know why, but the mouse behaves differently with different lod settings at different dpi

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our review! We test all mice using the lowest available LOD setting, as this is the configuration we expect most users to use. It also helps ensure consistency across our reviews, as default settings can vary between models.
Currently, we don’t have plans to test mice at multiple LOD settings, but I’ve noted your suggestion and will keep it in mind as we work on future updates and improvements to our testing methods.

Hello again,
Thank you for sharing more details about your experience with the mouse. The behavior you’re describing doesn’t sound like it’s intentional. If you suspect your unit might be defective, I recommend reaching out to Razer’s customer support for further assistance with your specific issue.
As mentioned earlier, we typically test products using the latest software and firmware available at the time of testing.
Mouse feels great, only thing I’m not sure about is why I have to turn it on/off for it to feel great lol… Just trying to work out what happens when its turned on/off
Hi. I have also noticed that if I turn my mouse off then on it changes the sensors behaviour. Feels like lower lod.
Pc restart puts it back to normal, very odd.
Latest firmware update has this mentioned in description:
“ Fixed sensor rotation reset to default when mouse is powered off and on when synapse is not running.”
But this time its nothing to do with rotation but seems to be LOD.

Synapse 4 guru needed.
Help with Viper V3 pro settings please.
Right so I have an issue with my Viper V3 pro, I run Synapse Version 4.0.86.2411140357 and latest firmware for my vv3p.
The issue I have is that when I start a game on CS2 sensor works fine but feels floaty, I have to manually turn on/off my mouse for it to feel perfect again.
When I restart pc floaty feeling is back again so I have to turn on/off my mouse again and again.
Just dont understand why my mouse would feel completely different after turning it on/ off? Any ideas what could be happening?
Ive tried various versions of Synapse but the one above is the one that feels best in my opinion.
Im just trying to figure out a way for me not to have to turn my mouse on/off everytime I start my pc and trying to understand why its doing this…
Help would be greatly appreciated as its melting my brain and doesnt make any sense…
