I have observed the speaker having horrible battery life at 80% volume. I played the speaker at 80% volume for 2 hours and lost 50% battery. Effectively giving me a 4 hour battery life at 80% volume.
A reviewer also reported losing 60% of the battery life in 2 hours of 90% volume listening: https://youtu.be/p2taj2pEMEo?t=327 while the competition lost ~20% battery life.
This battery usage I believe should be mentioned in the review (of course after you test it) as this effectively means the speaker discharges faster than we can charge it.
Because it completely changes the sound signature. It becomes quite boomy and powerful.
I use horizontal for the inside, vertical for the outside with pretty good success.
I got the Q9 the other day and I’m starting to regret the purchase. Youtube lags at 4k output. Menus are laggy. Netflix would lag and skip after un-pausing. Not sure what to do.
Do it like the rest of us that have 4K TVs, get a Nvidia Shield. Every single 4K TV, even the 2500$ ones, have crappy specs. None can even go faster than 100Mbit/s without switching to WiFi. It’s way better to buy a solid reliable Android TV Box (Or Apple 5th gen TV).
same problem for me, I hesitate between the Hisense Q9 (h9f) and the Samsung Q80R which seems to have a big discount for the black friday. I do not know if not having Dolby Vision is a big negative point?
No idea either. I’m looking for 65 inch only so I haven’t seen many good deals outside of TCL 6-series for this size.
This is probably due to headphones that are bass-heavy being considered “fun headphones” because this makes the music more fun to listen to, but not accurate. A bit like boosting the vibrance on your Nvidia Control Panel. It’s not accurate but it’s prettier.

Did you guys test the speaker vertically?

The ult field 7 floats.
Edit: I said “not submersible” as in “It won’t sink”, I’m a dumbass, just realized “submersible” means it can be in the water and fine.

Ouch, definitely not value oriented in Canada. Better to buy Sony or TCL here. Thanks man!
