No wonder I see that several people are selling the bose especially this model, almost new, I was very tempted since they wanted to sell me new in sealed box at a super price, but well for a reason it will be, which do you think the bose and sony are better in this subject?
By now I no longer remember if I also in this forum highlighted the very good audio quality (for me) of the Bose.
Definitely better than the Sony, if you want a comparison.
But the Sony when there are strong vibrations near to you, they do not have the problem of annoying noises in the ear pavilions that I described for the bose.
If you want my advice, the best headphones in this case are the Bowers & Wilkins PX8.
Definitely higher audio quality and at this moment you can also find them in a strong discount.
Hello, after reading the comments I am already in serious doubts about buying these headphones, where I live the roads are not in good condition and there are always potholes.
I would like to know if to date if this bose error has already been fixed with some firmware, or will it simply be forgotten?
Hey Kanon,
If this is about the ANC issue other users have raised, we still haven’t been able to replicate the issue with our unit. That said, our resources are mainly allocated to a test bench update right now, so we have some possible theories, though we’ve not concluded anything yet.
As far as I know, Bose hasn’t made a firmware fix. Although it’s also not a problem for everyone who owns these headphones, I can’t fault you if you choose different headphones instead based on this. The ANC issue others have described isn’t entirely unique to these headphones, but it’s true that not being able to enter a ‘normal’ listening mode without being in ANC or transparency modes means if you encounter the issue, you’re stuck with it.
Thanks
I don’t think it will ever be solved.
Unless Bose decides to make deactivable the ANC.
I repeat as I have already said previously, is the “super pushed” ANC of Bose that creates this problem.
I made the comparison with other headphones in the same conditions, and I noticed that the problem is inexistent or definitely less….however even if is present, it is mild, and it disappears completely by deactivating (where it is possible) the ANC.
On the Bose Quite Comfort Ultra is not possible to disable the ANC.

Hello, will Bose’s CustomTune technology affect the sound quality? In other words, will different people get different results when using it?
Hello Sayo,
The CustomTune technology offered by Bose should not affect sound quality, however, it will affect your perception of the sound. That is to say, it will modify the EQ and the ANC so it is better suited to your unique ear canal. Because of this, It will indeed be different for different users.
Please note that this feature is not available on these headphones. They are available for the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II TW.
