I bought the V5 Max for a friend but remapped some of the keys so that he would have access to a PrintScreen key. After remapping the keys with the official software (following their guide here: https://www.keychron.com/blogs/news/how-to-use-launcher-to-program-your-keyboard ) the keyboardโs effective update rate feels to be 125hz. Resetting the firmware (holding Fn + J + Z for 4 seconds) doesnโt help until you unplug and replug the keyboard in. Can someone from the RTings team test this to confirm quantitative data on polling rate and latency after remapping keys and then test again resetting the firmware thereafter?
I really wish we could see the Key Release measurement for both this keyboard and the Asus ROG Azoth in wired mode. Judging by how the Corsair K70 Core fared (which was tested in wired mode) it might be okay, but I donโt really want to take that gamble. Iโm also a fan of the 75% and enclosed switch design but it looks like from a performance-first standpoint, I should just get a Corsair K70 RGB TKL since that shows a known, measured low latency delay on the key release ๐
