Hi all, I want to buy a new tv this weekend, and I’m a bit confused about VRR. This feature is very important to me because I will mainly use the new tv to play games. Now, for my budget, I’m considering buying the Samsung Q70r or the LG SM9000. The LG has 2.1 hdmi ports, so I should be ok with next gen consoles coming next year. The Q70R doesn’t, but it is unclear to me id it supports the VRR standard from the hdmi 2.1. Some sites say that it is fully compatible with hdmi 2.1 VRR (except it can’t do 4k 120FPS), some others say it’s just freesync compatible (so next gen consoles which are expected to use hdmi 2.1 VRR feature might not be supported). If the Q70R is really fully compatible with hdmi 2.1 VRR I’d prefer it over the lg, because i play in a dark room, because of the better contrast, overall image quality, better motion and flickr free (apparently), but If it doesnt then it might not be compatible with next gen consoles, and I really would like to avoid having to change it again next year. Any advice would really be appreciated! Thank you in advance
Update: Removed the Fujifilm X-T200 and added the Fujifilm X-T30 II under the new category, ‘Best Portable Fujifilm Camera’. Also renamed the Fujifilm X-S10 from ‘Best Intermediate Fujifilm Camera’ to ‘Best Mid-Range Fujifilm Camera’ and added specific brand comparisons.
