Accoriding to LGs website, they suggest that it’s a true 10-bit panel, but there’s really no way for us to confirm at the moment if this is true. Realistically though, whether it’s 8-bit + FRC or true 10-bit, it’ll likely be hard to differentiate for most users!

Why is Rtings unable to test for true 10-bit? isn’t there some type of software or hardware to confirm that?

Because without that then there’s dithering going on at monitor level I think, even if you turn it off at the graphics card and windows level.

Want to bet?) I’m having nausea and eye strain with FRC/Dithering technology. So I can easily tell you where its 8bit + FRC and true 10bit. xDD

So what monitor do you use? Were you able to confirm it’s true 10-bit?
