Issue on LG 55 C7V (EU) with PS5 game HDR mode
Hi everybody, I bought a PS5 today and find out that my PS5 doesn’t display properly on my LG 55 C7V. Brigthness appears super DIM when I use my usal custom game HDR mode. Never had any issue with this on both PS4 Pro and XBX. Disabling HDR or going in Standard HDR mode seems to totaly fix this issue, but the cost (way worst input lag) is a bit harsh… Anyone with the same issue here ? Is it firmware related or an oversight from Sony ? Dynamic contrast or ALLM related issue maybe ?

Differences between sizes
We bought the 48" (Samsung UN48J5000). The panel version written at the back is ED02, and it is an IPS panel (PLS). We expect our review to be valid for the 32", 43" and 48". The 50" though, has a VA panel inside, so the viewing angle won't be as good, but it should have a better contrast ratio. The rest of the picture quality elements should be similar.
If someone comes across a different type of panel used, let us know and we will update our review.
