The 4 Best Air Fryer Brands - Winter 2025

Best Air Fryer Brands

If you're looking for your first air fryer or need an upgrade, you'll want one that produces evenly crispy, golden-brown food quickly and reliably. With such a wide variety available on the market, it can be helpful to narrow your search to a few brands. Which is the best air fryer brand depends on your desired capacity, features, and price. The best options make evenly cooked food without drying out or burning a big proportion. If you want to use your air fryer instead of your oven for other methods like baking and dehydrating, a range of settings and fan speeds is also worth considering.

We've tested 29 air fryers, and below is an overview of the best air fryer brands. If you're looking for more recommendations, check out the top air fryers and the best budget and cheap air fryers. If you're looking for a toaster, our overview of the best toaster brands is a good place to start.

  1. Ninja

Ninja is a U.S.-based manufacturer that makes popular ice-crushing blenders and a wide variety of air fryers. They're a good starting point if you're looking for a mid-range option. The brand makes air fryers in various shapes and sizes, but Ninja's lineup of dual-basket models shines. Air fryers perform better with enough space to spread food in a single layer. As a result, it's worth considering a large-capacity model, even if you usually only prepare food for yourself or one other person. The brand's products occupy every spot on our list of the best large-capacity air fryers, and all feature fairly shallow, square baskets, which helps maximize their usable capacity. Ninja's dual-basket models allow you to use only one basket for smaller snacks or cook different foods in each basket with different settings. Most models offer a variety of presets that vary the fan speed for different cooking methods.

The 10-quart Ninja Foodi DZ550 gives you plenty of room for arranging food in a single layer and produces great results, so your food comes out mostly evenly browned and crispy, with just a small proportion under or over-cooked. Like other Ninja dual-basket air fryers, you can use the 'Smart Finish' setting when cooking with different settings in each basket so that each side is done at the same time. This high-end model also includes a built-in thermometer that you can use to have the air fryer cook meat to a certain temperature.

  2. COSORI

COSORI makes air fryers and other small appliances, like air fryer ovens and multi-cookers. Their products are less budget-friendly compared with Ninja's but have a sleek, modern look and come with different features in some cases. Some models offer app connectivity, so you can look up recipes and monitor your food as it cooks. Like Ninja, most of COSORI's air fryers have square baskets, which gives you more surface area to spread food out in a single layer versus round baskets. They have digital controls that allow for more precise adjustments, and most models have a slanted control panel, which is easy to read when standing above the appliance on your counter.

The COSORI TurboBlaze is our pick for the best medium-sized air fryer overall. It produces good-quality air-fried food and has a bigger cooking surface area than other options with the same overall capacity. Its user manual lists the fan speed corresponding to each setting, which most manufacturers don't. This is helpful if you want to use your air fryer for methods besides air frying since you can use a medium fan speed for baking and a lower fan speed for dehydrating. However, while it cooks quickly, it preheats somewhat slowly and maintains a less stable temperature during cooking than the Ninja DZ550, making it difficult to follow recipes accurately.

  3. BELLA

BELLA is a kitchenware brand owned by 'Made by Gather,' which is also the parent company of Drew Barrymore's kitchenware brand, 'Beautiful by Drew.' The brand focuses on budget-friendly products, including blenders and air fryers. While BELLA products don't always offer the absolute best performance, if you want to try out a new-fangled appliance without spending much, BELLA air fryers provide reasonable performance at a lower price. However, they don't always offer a wide range of fan speeds. This means BELLA air fryers may not be versatile enough for recipes like banana bread or dehydrated fruit, but they work well for making meals like chicken wings and crispy sides like Brussels sprouts or cauliflower.

The BELLA 8qt Pro 90088 is our pick for the best cheap large-capacity air fryer. It has a circular basket, so you don't have as much space to arrange food in a single layer as other 8qt models like the Ninja DZ071. Still, it has a pretty big capacity and produces good-quality air-fried food decently quickly, although a bigger proportion is overcooked when your food is ready.

  4. Gourmia

Gourmia has a huge lineup of air fryers, including tiny 2-quart options for snacks and dual basket models suitable for preparing full meals. Most models include convenience features like a 'Turn Reminder' and preheat mode and have square baskets, which help maximize cooking surface area. Some Gourmia models come in several colors, like pink or green, which isn't overly common for air fryers and might be a plus if aesthetics are a priority. However, while most models have a variety of presets for different foods like 'Fries,' they don't always have modes for other cooking methods that actually vary the fan speed.

The Gourmia GAF798 is a 7-quart air fryer that produces good-quality air-fried food, so fries, wings, and veggies are mostly evenly browned and cooked. The 'Turn Reminder' feature will indicate when to flip or shake your food partway through cooking, and its dedicated preheat mode lets you know when it's fully heated. However, while it has modes like 'Broil' and 'Bake,' they don't correspond with different fan speeds and act as suggested time and temperature presets. The 'Dehydrate' mode only lowers its fan speed slightly, so it's not the best option if you want a versatile air fryer.
