TCL 50S423 - Glows when OFF

I picked up a 50S423 yesterday for a bedroom TV. With all of the lights in the bedroom completely off, I noticed that the TV screen was glowing most of the night. Does anyone know what could cause this? Should I return the TV or is this typical for an LCD TV in a dark environment?

The TV was confirmed to be turned OFF LED standby light is OFF Fast start is DISABLED

UPDATE: The TV was still glowing a day later without ever being turned on. Unplugging the TV has resolved the issue, but that really isn’t a solution. Is this slight backlight glow while off normal behaviour for a TV?
