I’m looking to upgrade to a 43" 4k tv. My current model, the Vizio E261VA is only 720p and I’m looking to move on up.

For all intents and purposes, the Vizio E43-F1 seems to be the best quality I can find in the smallest size for 4k (I have a very small bedroom). But the thing that keeps me from buying immediately is that Vizio tvs aren’t the best at upscaling. I play a lot of games on my PS3, many of which are capped at 720p. I don’t want to see the image degrade drastically.

I’ve hooked my PS3 up to a 65" version of the Vizio E Series to test, and noticed that the image was softer, but not drastically so. And a smaller tv should be able to display a 720p image even better, correct?

So am I worried about nothing? Despite its better upscaling ability, I don’t believe Samsung’s NU7100 would be a better overall option. Any input would be appreciated.
