There is no option to turn off local dimming, and their local dimming algorithm in game mode is horrendous. There is intense clouding throughout the screen with any HUD elements. Dark scenes often look ridiculous. HDTV test has a great video on this comparing it to an OLED game mode. Not a fair comparison, but you can clearly see the terrible clouding on the TV

You’re right that we measured a marginally faster average Delay to Start of Movement result for the Superlight 2 but we definitely wouldn’t call it really bad. In our opinion, that average difference of 2 ms is extremely narrow. It’s also worth pointing out that depending on your CPI setting—1600 or 3200 CPI, for instance—that difference is virtually nonexistent. That said, at the end of the day, this level of difference just doesn’t have any meaningful impact on in-game performance. The reason we currently recommend the Viper V3 Pro over the Superlight 2 ultimately comes down to very minor details. We found the Razer has a slight edge in overall build quality and better stock skates—and that’s about it. But if asked to compare the Logitech Superlight 2 and the Viper V3 Pro directly, I wouldn’t personally characterize either one as clearly better than the other. They’re both top-tier mice with exceptional performance. If I were choosing between them, I’d consider their performance a non-issue and instead focus on the smaller details that might matter more to you personally. Hey, thanks for answering. I kept playing with both of them, and somehow observed Razer’s motion sync helped me be more accurate. The superlight 2 feels a little like having more stutters than the Viper.

Well, its really hard for a human to feel 5 ms of latency. Remember, your PC has latency (mine is around 30 ms); your monitor has latency, and your framerate dictates latency the most. There is a time between every frame where your computer is not taking into account your mouse movement. For instance, at 240 FPS, there is about a 4.167*ms gap between each frame before it checks for mouse position again. Finally, NVIDIA used to talk about your reaction time at your very best being around 150 ms, but I can’t seem to find it on their Reflex Article anymore. The widely hailed average reaction time is 250 ms. Many mouse reviewers talk about how the jump from 1000 Hz polling rate to 8000 Hz polling rate is a placebo effect because you are getting 0.875 ms improvement in latency.
