Picked up this set for $400 on a black Friday deal. The picture quality was fine for the price BUT the light bleed at the edges is unacceptable. I was intending on returning it to Best Buy when it broke. While I was watching the TV, it made a cracking noise and the picture when ‘wonky’. When I attempted to bring it back to a local Best Buy location, the manager accused me of damaging it (absolutely not!) and refused the return. Fortunately, phone support came through and I had a return label in my inbox before I left the parking lot. I have seen a few reviews of this model online and most but not all had serious distractiing light bleed. I think if rtings had recieved one of these, the rating here would be even lower than it is. At $400 it might be worth a risk of dragging this large set in and out of your home, at any higher price it is absolutely NOT WORTH IT!
