IR Remote Compatible?

Can this TV be controlled with a non-smart remote? I have no desire to use the provided Roku remote and am looking to remotely control using IR instead of Wifi or Bluetooth (whatever is currently used). More specifically with TCL 32S325-B. Is this even possible?
