Help Needed

I have (2) 10-13 yr old Sony LCD TVs. I rate the picture quality perfect in regards to clarity, sharpness, and color. One of them gave up last week so I opted for another Sony model X950H 49", thinking another newer Sony just had to be better than the old one.NOT!. I am not happy with it, particularly the sharpness. When it is viewed head on it is not bad but nowhere near as sharp as the old machine. The viewing angle is terrible, at 25* off of head on it is less sharp and the color appears washed out. I am looking for a recommendation for a replacement?
