HDMI Forum VRR vs Freesync

My understanding is that the Xbox supports both HDMI Forum VRR and Freesync. Is there a way to force it to use one or the other (I have not seen any such option). If not, then how do you actually test HDMI Forum VRR on devices that advertise support for Freesync (e.g., how do you know the Xbox isn’t just using Freesync in those cases).

    20, same as PC mode. In either case, the difference is extremely subtle though, you might not even notice the difference.
