Hello. First off, thank you for the incredible reviews. Most of this stuff is a bit over my head but I appreciate how thorough you guys are.
Like many others I am stuck between the Sony W800 and the Samsung H6350 - maybe even the Vizio M-series. I do absolutely zero gaming. The only smart TV functions I would use are Netflix and HBO Go (exclusive to Samsung?).
I don't care about 3D. I use my TV mainly for cable programming, Netflix movies/shows, and sports. Picture quality and motion blur in sports are a HUGE concern of mine and what led me to choosing plasma previously (now that set has crapped-out). I've seen you steer other folks like me toward the H6350. Here's the thing, I am committed to 50", since it is the largest screen that my space will allow.
In the comments section of the H6350 review there is a lot of negative commentary regarding the panel version in the 50" model. I wouldn't want to purchase a premium brand only to be outfitted with an inferior panel. Is this a legitimate concern? Is it enough to deter me away from the H6350?
Since I mentioned it above, the Vizio M-series has received some glowing reviews all over the web. It's active LED zones seems very interesting. Ultimately, among these three, which would you recommend, considering overall picture quality and motion blur in sports in a 50" screen? Thank you!
