Enabling 1440p/Flickering

Hello. I just got a 55 inch X900H. I have a Nintendo Switch and Gamecube both plugged into an Insignia HDMI switch with an mclassic graphics enhancer as the output to be able get 1440p60hz. However, it’s only displaying at 1080p. I have connected them together and separately to each HDMI port with the enhanced format enabled. I know for a fact both consoles should display at 1440p60hz as long as it’s supported by the tv. I checked rtings before making this purchase to ensure it supported 1440 and it does at 60hz. What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried rearranging the components and using different cables but no luck. I’m fairly certain the issue isn’t on my end since I had zero issues with connecting the consoles to my 1080p tv beforehand. Any help would be greatly appreciated in order to enable 1440p. Also, when playing these consoles the screen flickers and goes in and out like crazy. I haven’t heard this being an issue on other unit so I don’t know if this is a result of my previously mentioned problem. I fear I have a defective unit and would hate to return it because I’m really enjoying all other aspects of the X900H and haven’t noticed any other issues other than when trying to game.

Nowadays, with the good quality content available, it is preferable to turn off those settings, to have an image as close at what it was intended by the producer. Use them only if you are watching very low quality content.
