So you can adjust 20 Point for whitebalance in Game Mode on this TV ? Is this for all newer LG TVs?
Hi JuhiMiki
So, simply put, 709 is the standard (SDR) and most content that people are consuming in HDR is going to be DCI-P3. On the other hand, 2020 is basically a signal that tells the display to go as wide and full as it can (in terms of colors). In other words, itโs considered to be the limits of the TVs color capabilities. In this case, I donโt think you could say that one is better than the other though, they all have their own advantages and disadvantages.
For the Gammas, 1886 is considered to be the โstandardโ and is actually closer to 2.4 than to 2.2, which is what we recommend. This is because it would be best in a theatre environment (super dark) so it can make the image very movie-like. That said, a lot of people may not have that environment, so 2.2 would likely be better in those cases. Also, 2084 is an HDR standard for gamma and itโs rated to go all the way up to 10000 nits. Itโs usually used to manipulate the gammas on a TV.

For SDR content Backlight 40, brightness 0, Contrast 50, Sharpness 5, Color 25, tint 0, Local dimming standard, contrast enhancer High , color tone standard, Gamma Bt 1886/0 , rgb only off, Color Space Auto. These settings are perfect for SDR content like 4k and 1080p. For HDR the default settings are fine just make sure local dimming is high and contrast enhancer high , color space auto, color tone standard
