is hdr bad on this

i just got mine and when i have hdr mode on for my consoles for both streaming and gaming i noticed that screen and colors get dimmer and darker and that hdr mode off looks better and brighter does this tv just have bad hdr does anyone have any advice on this and should i just leave hdr mode off on this tv also when streaming do i turn game mode off
