I have had the 86" version for a couple months now. And it’s pretty good. I got it for sale on Amazon for 1700. The colors are a little better than a budget tv. Compared to other low range ips panels the glow is not as bad. I turn the backlight way down for better blacks. It looks like the 86" has the original ips not ads panel. With the a7 processor it has the true 120hz panel and really good motion handling. It has dolby vision and decent speakers. Its a lot different than the smaller sizes that have The less powerful quad core. I’ve bought several LG TVs the past few years and this is the first year they offer a nanocell with the VA panel for 50, 60 and 70" models. Finally. This is also the first time without local dimming. Its arguably better than the nano 80 because that edge lit local dimming is bad for dark movies and there is no option for the a7 on that one.
