V435-H11 Atmos via eARC?
I cannot for the life of me get an Atmos or TrueHD signal via eARC on the V435-H11, even though the RTNGS post/test verified that it can do this. Using the Plex app DTS:X HD Is properly sent to my receiver via eARC but whenever selecting something with TrueHD and/or Atmos the signal received from my receiver is DD+

Given how it works on these LG OLEDs, it should just be the same lag as normal but you add half the frame-time. The reason is that is blanks the screen for the first half of the frame-time, so it’s half a frame-time for it to start scanout. So for example, 60Hz you’d add 8.33ms and for 120Hz you’d do half of that. 4.166ms.

Thanks, I have read in some places that the BFI is tied to the motion interpolation being turned on so I was just looking for a definite answer. Hopefully people saying that are wrong.

Please test input lag with all the different BFI settings I heard from my friend with a time sleuth that it’s 29ms @60hz with motionpro on high.

I just hooked up my time sleuth and you’re right. 1080p 60fps kicks it up to 29ms. It’s 21ms on medium or low. I can’t test any higher than 1080p myself though so sorry.

Ok, I have a Samsung Q8fn currently and when I play 30fps console games I use game motion plus(interpolation). It only moves my input lag from 15ms apx. to 21ms. I can’t stand judder on 30fps games. On PC of course I’m running 60fps so I don’t use it.
I’m ready to purchase the LG GX , but one thing is stopping me. From what I read interpolation for game mode doesn’t work on the LG with HDR? I just want too add some for 30fps games like I do now. Also it shows on the input lag with interpolation for the CX which is same as GX to be 90ms or so(rtings review), and that’s too high for my liking.
So, can you run interpolation with GAME MODE , 4k, HDR, and 60hz/120hz? And whats the input lag?
From the comments it 20ms or so with using BFI? Cause I noticed at best buy today tru motion plus was greyed out with HDR. Maybe tru motion plus isn’t the BFI?
I know some of the new consoles with have some 60fps game, but not all will so I still want the interpolation for 30fps games currently and for Series X and PS5.
