2 Point White Balance Question

If I am only using 2 point white balance, would it be OK to use rtings settings? I realize that TVs are different, but these settings take the red tint out of my whites. This makes it appear more accurate to me even if it may not be. Since 2 point settings are not precision, can these settings be shared among the same model TV unlike 10 point settings which will obviously differ?
