Sony X900F HDR settings

What is the best settings for HDR? I am unable to change the picture mode on HDR. It defaults to Dolby vision. I am using fire tv 4k in hdmi 2 and the picture quaity is very bad. The brightness goes to 100 and the content is blackish. Is this normal?
