  1. Update: We’ve converted this review to Test Bench 1.1. This update adds several new tests addressing Hardware Customization, Macro Keys And Programming, and Wireless Mobile Compatibility. We’ve also added new objective evaluations to the Typing Noise test, and we’ve simplified several tests and removed several others that were no longer relevant. For an in-depth look at all our changes, you can see our full changelog here.

Hello, are all the keycaps removable? Is it okay to use metal leg keycap remover tool to remove space bar? Would it scratch? Do you have a suggestion on what remover item i should use on this keyboard?

    Hi blitz,

I can confirm the keycaps on the Logitech G413 SE are all removable.

The two most common types of keycap removers are ring-shaped pullers (typically made of metal or plastic) or wire pullers. While it’s possible to accidentally scratch your keycaps using either kind of tool, I generally recommend a wire puller for most people as their design allows you to slide under the edges of the keycaps more easily, reducing the risk of scratches.

If you run into any trouble, there are plenty of good written guides or video guides on YouTube.

    I hope that helps!

I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks now. Put in o rings for a more silent and less travel distance keys but unfortunately spacebar is still too loud despite using double o rings on it. People around me are bothered (even in another room if my door is open) when im gaming or typing mostly due to spacebar as regular keys dont clank anymore with the o rings.

edit after 2 months: o rings feels mushy at times and still, keyboard remains loud in completely quiet environments unlike a laptop keyboard. Take this into consideration when buying

edit2 after 8 months: ended up removing the o-rings from all keys except space bar because i didnt like how they felt and they didnt reduce sound that much. At first i was fine with o-rings but then started to feel that i didnt get that nice feel out of my keys. If im playing or writing without a thought, keyboard can be heard from the next room even if room door is closed. I need to type very slowly and gently if i dont want to annoy someone. Just beware of buying a mechanical keyboard if noise might be an issue. I actually use a K295 now. Wireless silent membrane. Pretty happy with it tho it isnt ideal for gaming because key activation isnt great. If you press lightly it sometimes doesnt register even tho button is pressed. Dont have a latency issue in games though. Used a keyboard reaction test about 5 times for each keyboard and it was the same delay (~230ms) for both keyboards. With the exception that violently pressing a key is near silent on MK295 and really loud on 413SE.
