Hi there, can these settings also be used with the X90s? Thanks
As far as we know, it does appear to be. If anyone sees otherwise though, feel free to let us know! :)

I just asked about this on Best Buy yesterday and was told the 43-inch has the VA panel, so you might check.

Hey there,
Thanks for doing that. In this case, I think it would also help to hear from someone who has purchased the 43’‘ variant of this TV. In our experience, we’ve seen customer support provide incorrect information before, and the last thing we’d ever want to do is provide incorrect information or mislead users. So, if someone has purchased this TV and can provide evidence, we’ll definitely update the review as we did with the X85J! :)

Cool. Hopefully someone who has the TV will see this and respond. I was poking around yesterday and saw that https://www.displaydb.com/tv/hisense-43a6g has it listed as a VA panel, but I have no idea how reliable that might be. I’m researching 43-inch TVs because I want to get one for my bedroom this fall and will probably just go with the TCL, but I’m trying to find out as much as I can about this one too. Not many models come in this size anymore and the 50 is just a little too big.
How would you know? I just got the 50 inch and I’m wondering if it is ips or va panel
This Tv launched in SEA as A6GE, I can confirm an online store listing this as 4000:1 contrast ratio for 43 inch. I was looking forward to it as a pc monitor but I guess not anymore.
I have the 43" variant and without measuring the specifics, the horizontal viewing angle is horrible. I plan on returning this but can take pictures or do any tests that folks need until I return it.

Here is a video of my 43" before I return it. Viewing angle is absolutely horrible on this. I’ve never seen one this bad.
The 43A68G I bought from best buy last week via the associate link on this page (thanks for the thorough review rtings, keep up the good work!) has an RGB subpixel layout and clear viewing angles out to about 80° from center unlike the VA panel I have beside it which is BGR and starts colour shifting at 30°. 250 nits is absolutely perfect for my use case (computer monitor in the basement) and out of the box colour reproduction is better than anything else I have (thanks dell monitors from work). Love that the backlight doesn’t flicker when set to 100%. I do wish I could get a curved one for sitting 3 ft away. Mine has a dead/stuck pixel about 4" off center, so it’s getting exchanged after Xmas if I’m not able to remedy the problem.
I got a BGR VA panel A6G 43" from US Best Buy.
The funny thing is that the store display was a IPS. It looks like the 43" with the same model number in the US can have two panel types.
Was hoping for a IPS, but not too miffed. Cheap spare TV for the bedroom.
I got a 43A6G which is RGB+IPS-like from US BestBuy delivered on Feb. 3rd, 2022. The Model Number from the TV shows “43A53FUA”. Horizontal view angle is really good, but vertical view angle (look from top or bottom) is not that good, something like a poor VA. The good thing is there is no much chance I can look the TV from that angle. I visited two nearby BestBuy to check the display one (43"), and both of them are IPS-like. Have no idea why HiSense declares all panels for A6G are VA. Maybe this is an special VA??? I do notice significant difference when look from above other than left or right. I will keep it and use it as monitor. I need large 4K one for more windows at same time. For $270 I have no complaints. Great for PC use, small enough to sit 2 foot away but enjoy 4X21" @1080P!
I have let you know yet there has been no change to the documentation in your review. Others have also shown that the 43" has showed up in both IPS and VA formats.
While the video you provided was insightful, we don’t like to make any changes without further certainty. Without testing it ourselves, the best way to obtain certainty is with a pixel shot of the TV. If anyone can provide that, we’d greatly appreciate it. In the meantime, this discussion thread is great until we get more certainty!
