The review shows its a 10bit display. I dont wanna quote the competition, but https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/467b1c64 says its an 8bit panel with no FRC. The asus site specs of the monitor says 16.7M colors, which is 8bit.

Is it an error of the review or am i missing something? Thanks for any clarification, since im about to buy it and its an important aspect to me.

This means that the highest signal bit depth it can receive is 10-bit, and doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a 10-bit panel. It’s likely using 8-bit + FRC, but we don’t have a way of confirming.

If the asus site says rated for 16.7M colours, should i asume it has no FRC? Im trying to contact asus without Luck.

How is XG32AQ compared to this? looks like it’s same spec but 32 inch but i don’t see any info on this monitor anywhere

It looks similar in terms of specs and it seems newer, but without testing it we don’t know how it performs.
